la semana de Carnavales: Irlanda (Thurs til the following crack of dawn Saturday morn)
i spent thursday night til Sunday with the boys from Loras College and the Friday before my return flight

(happened to meet a group of girls from Spain, pretty exciting!)

I was treated to my first Guinness

they needed volunteers at the Jameson Distillery 
(yes, i learned a lot about alcohol, beer, & whiskey in Irlanda), 
i was a bit nervous cuz i thought we were gonna be tested on our ability to differentiate the tastes between the 3 shots of whiskey, but i volunteered anyway : )
who in their right mind would pas up free drinks!!

I spent Monday thru Thursday evening in the South of Ireland (Cork & a visit to Kerry) with my friend Aoife and her friends and even a family dinner (correction: traditional Irish at her mom's place


we visited Blarney Castleand kissed the Blarney stone, but my pic is awk so its not going up, if you wanna see it it's on facebook buried and hidden by the rest of my great pics : P

there were a lot of caves on the grounds of the castle 
and eventually we came back to this one and explored as far as we could

i mean we basically had a photo shoot there...
or all week, for that matter

reunited after years, like it was yesterday

i have more to add but i've decided to start paying attention to the spanish TV in front of me... : )


AND we're gonna jump to las Islas Cies cuz ive been slackin on blogging cuz i've been soaking in every moment of Spain cuz i don't wanna leave. that is all.
