these past 2 weeks

idk why, but the past 2 weeks have been a struggle just in general. the 2 weeks after our vacaciones and whotnot and going back to class. i know what i need to work on. i only have about a month left here and it's hard not to think about it. i'm really gonna miss this place. so i'm taking full advantage of everything else i can while i'm here.

viaje con clase

like almost every wednesday, we have some class outing (a movie or tapas). we hopped on the bus with Lola and all the other internacional kiddies to the Cuidad de Cultura where we met up with Maria who gave us a tour of the place and all the buildings. you can see the building (if you can call it a building) from my house. i always wondered what it was and wanted to see it cuz it looked cool. someone had told me that it was something cultural or another but i'm glad we go to visit it. we learned a lot in detail about the buildings and how they are formed and why they were constructed the way they are. it was pretty cool. i've seen pictures of buildings asi pero nunca been to any. we actually got to climb up the wall of one the buildings. yes, we climbed up a wall. you heard that right. i'm sure someone in our group has a pic of that so i'll be sure to snag one off fb at some point. but yeah, it was a bit long but it was interesting. it's something to do, something to learn, i'm outta of the house, listening to spanish and well speaking spanish (usually) altho on the bus ride back i did cave for english. its so hard to speak spanish when its just our group. its much easier when i know its the only way of communication between people. for example. Kely (from Brasil) is always on top of me, espanol Kelly, always callin me out if i say a word of english lol but so yeah. i could speak more spanish outside of my house i guess. and that's why i enjoy these outings every wednesday cuz its ONLY spanish. and then when we go out on the weekends we try to speak spanish too. alright, well i think i got very off topic here. but that's what i got.

technology and I aren't friends

sooo as if taking my computer ealrier this semester, now it's taken my camera which was working perfectly the last time i used it....something is wrong with the lens (in the actual camera) because everything works escept for when i take a picture. its as if the lens is closed, but its not. cool technology. stop hatin on me ehhh? that would be great.

¡¡ I AM LIVING A DREAM !!

that is all. i had intercambios today with a friend of a host mom of one of the Japanese students who studied here. I had some churros con chocolate and whatnot. next time there will be more espanolas which is awesome for me! it's in English and Spanish but so when i don't know how to say something its cool. i can learn how to say things a bit easier this way sometimes.

after class today i paid a visit with one of my professors to talk about how i'm doing in class and to get in some extra practice talking and whatnot. it was very worth it and we figured some things out and its all good.

i LOVE Spain and i never wanna go home...ever!
peace & love

rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

yes i can : )
now just to use it with actual words!! yippeee!!

buen finde

Thursday:
St. Patty's Day...interesting...nough said

Friday:
Central Perk and then a club but called it a semi early night (SO unlike me)

Saturday:
beautiful weather so i went on my first official run thru the Alameda (around 70 F that right!)
skyped Kristin, Stef, and Kel and caught up with friends, not to mention i actually went to bed before 2am on the weekend for once (EARLY compared to the normal 630am)

Sunday:
beautiful weather once AGAIN : ) so i went on another run thru the Alameda after wonderful around the area where i live a bit so scope it out a bit. i need to explore the other end of the city now next weekend.
and skyped with Señora...so good to talk with her!! : )

first few days of spring = like the first few days of summer, say what?!
this was a never-ending weekend...i LOVED it! usually when we travel, we jam-pack our days so its feels long. and when we stay in Santiago i usualy sleep thru a good portion of the weekend cuz we stay out at the discotecas but being in Santiago this weekend and not having to go to my internship Friday was a nice break and change of pace, especially cuz St. Patty's day was Thursday! Que suerte! I enjoyed the beautiful weather of Santiago! this is the life : )
